The program design follows the evidence-based principles set forth by Dr. Marsha M. Linehan in her innovative clinical manuals Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder, Skills Training Manual for Treating Borderline Personality Disorder, DBT Skills Training Manual Second Edition, and DBT Skills Training Handouts And Worksheets Second Edition. The primary objective of the DBT-ST MOOC is to provide a much-needed DBT skills training resource for people who do not otherwise have access to DBT.
